AFC East

1. New England Patriots
2. Buffalo Bills
3. New York Jets
4. Miami Dolphins

Analysis: The dynasty with the New England Patriots is just beginning and I think they may have some better success for the rest of this decade than the team did in real life. They do have an upstart team in the Buffalo Bills though, who could be quite gritty and give them a run for their money this year. I also think Tom Collins (fresh off his GGL Super Bowl), may make some waves. I believe third place belongs to the New York Jets, who could be a lot better than people thing. Chad Pennington is a young QB with some talent. I imagine the cellar will be the Miami Dolphins, but primarily because of how many rookies they have. They won't be there for long.

AFC North

1. Baltimore Ravens
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Cleveland Browns
4. Cincinnati Bengals

Analysis: Jeff Blake won't be the Super Bowl savior for the Baltimore Ravens, but he might have a last hurrah this year and bring them a division title before the complete retooling starts. After them, I'm actually picking the Pittsburgh Steelers to be a bit upstart this year. I'm not sure if I see them in the playoffs, but around .500 seems correct. I also think the Cleveland Browns may be streaky, but come up short of winning a large number of games. I have the Cincinnati Bengals last primarily because I imagine Palmer is the guy on day one and he's going to be rough to watch play this season.

AFC South

1. Indianapolis Colts
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
3. Tennessee Titans
4. Houston Texans

Analysis: All hail the Indianapolis Colts. GM Gary Hickman won the lotto, now his job is to not disappoint. I do think the Jacksonville Jaguars will be extremely chippy however and will push for the division title up to the final weeks. I like the Tennessee Titans as well, but it's Bryan, so screw him he gets third place. Last place is obviously the Houston Texans. AC will give me crap for it, but he's also openly admitted this won't be a good year in the Deep South.

AFC West

1. Kansas City Chiefs
2. San Diego Chargers
3. Oakland Raiders
4. Denver Broncos

Analysis: This is a tough division to predict, but I think this is the Kansas City Chiefs' year to make a splash before they have to go back to the drawing board. The San Diego Chargers are a talented, up and coming team who will be competitive immediately and will only get better. The last two are a toss up. I think the Oakland Raiders' current roster is slightly better, but I like the Denver Broncos roster in the long term.

AFC Playoff Seedings

1. Indianapolis Colts
2. New England Patriots
3. Kansas City Chiefs
4. Baltimore Ravens
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
6. Tennessee Titans
