Analysis: The Chargers are off to a rough start, but the season turns around when Drew Brees gets a new 7 year contract. He ultimately ends a promising Bills season. The Titans give the boot to GGL Super Bowl Champion Norb. The Rams put up 50 on the "happy to be here" 49ers. The Buccaneers with somewhat of an upset in Tampa, ousting the talented Vikings and Randy Moss.

Divisional Round

Analysis: Usually the best round of games, and this one year is no different. This week is full of nail biters, as the Rams NARROWLY lose to the Packers, the Bucs are a FG away from advancing (but still shut down the vet the year prior when they won the SB in 2002), the Patriots beat the Chargers, and the Titans (after getting swept in the regular season) upset the Colts. It's hard to beat a good team three times... even for Peyton Manning.

Conference Championships

Analysis:
Upset city again! The Patriots and Tom Brady think they get a gift when the Titans upset Manning and the Colts, but then have it happen to them, too. Mellon is just too experienced and throws a wrench on the plans of Rob Stanley. The Packers and Eagles was so hard to pick. They put on a hell of a show, but ultimately Brett Favre leads the game winning drive to put his boys in the Super Bowl.

PFT Super Bowl I

Analysis: More heartbreak for Brad. The Packers have a fantastic Cinderella season, but ultimately run into one of the most experienced playoff GMs our community has ever seen. Ultimately I just think this Titans starting roster was too good. It was easily the best looking roster coming into the league, aside from getting to start with Brady or Manning. And those guys are going to win a LOT of Super Bowls, so Mellon will need to get his now. Then he can coast on that for a while and focus on his real passion - making fun of Will Cook. The Packers will be back though. It was hard to leave the Eagles and Rams out, both of which will compete for multiple Super Bowls.
