As got no name suggestions and was going to pick something boring, decided to pick one of my favorite movie titles (btw, great movie) it’s a random name for an article series, but looks cool, it’s unique and somehow what doing here is a compilation of memories, so it’s on point, additionally with my recent memory lose medical episodes, kind of is a topic have gained interest for me. That said, welcome to the first episode of Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind!
Don’t count out the veterans
Never underestimate experience, that’s something is good to apply here and in any aspect of life, GM as Bryan Mellon, Darryl Breckheimer and Anthony Fernandez are former SB champion, very active and always looking to improve their rosters. The 3 of them have a developing QB on their roster (bryan also has a veteran), and the 3 of them have started the season 2-0. Have the Broncos face the easier schedule with Leftwich out and Jaguars sending a rookie? Probably, but is not on them who they play, and have done all that can. Im twisted when watch Broncos games, owning their 1st round pick, I need them to lose, but AF is my friend and like watching him succeed, so wishing him the best. Breck and me have been in constant communication since the start of the league, have become my main trade partner, and truly enjoy all conversations with him. Madden and non Madden related, and what can be say about Bryan whenever he wants to shine he does it, he’senjoying the rivalry with Colts, and the league wins when Bryan is motivated, or we lose… well whatever, I think at some moment the champ will add another SB ring.
The Titans finally beat the Colts, had to happen eventually, as said on discord, their roster was stacked, specially on defense, and that’s how they beat Colts with an outstanding defensive performance, I think we will see a committee QB with both QB rotating, Im extremely surprised by Garth decision of starting a QB with 3 inj and 4 tgh, sincerely I think that’s a mistake, that QB have no future, it’s a waste of time,sorry if you read this Garth is nothing personal, just don’t think that’s the right move, who knows, I could be wrong, later on the article will talk more about the injuries.
Sabermetrics take down a favorite?
Another former SB champion that takes a deep emphasis on data, as Norb, did surprise beating a playoffs contender while using a rookie QB, the Ravens still have a solid roster, I don’t think this change any of the season predictions, Steelers should be contenders still and Ravens on rebuild, but this was definetily something very positive for Ravens project and a warning for Steelers.
Buccaneers are the perfect darkhorse
I think this season we’ll watch what I was expecting to watch last season from TB, a veteran team being a dark horse, last season didn’t work, but Ian decided to give it another shot, personally like a lot that decision, ultimately he’ll have to rebuild anyway, but he can wait and still have the players to dream with SB, I think they’ll win the division and in playoffs… anything could happen, their QB almost won it all with Bills last season, and with all due respect to Tom, that btw loving his new articles ahd hope he keeps writing them. The Bills had a “mid” roster last season and were seconds away from SB, if Bledsoe keeps that tendency, beware NFC, beware league.
The future is now old man
I really hope this doesn’t get read as something negative, but It’s the only way I have to explain this. At previous league always felt Phil was so busy or didn’t have the passion for the project, which is sad because from all the league he’s one of the GM most involved with football, former player and current coach, being young he brings in a new methodology, and he can bring in new ideas, but always felt like he wasn’t fully involved, and now it feels completely different, he got the team he likes at Bengals (sorry Brady I know you love them, but was time for a new adventure) and from there he have been killing draft picks, in 2 drafts Phil have improved a lot his Bengals, and it’s always exciting to see new talent shining, wish you best of luck Phil, you’re doing an amazing job.

Injuries They’re happening and will keep happening, but tbh I was expecting a bigger impact, only time will tell, but the risk-benefit of drafting a low injury player could be different from what I thought. Yet… still ugly injuries

What expecting from week 3
If Lions lose vs QB #3…Im tempted to upload the game to youtube so it stays in history forever, I wouldn’t be surprised, Rodany almost lost last season vs a QB cowboys grabbed from walmart, and he even had the audacity of writing articles and say BS. You better win Rod, make the bribe of gem worth it
Packers vs Colts is a SB game, tbh without Favre injury I think that was SB last season, I had all my money on Brad, but should’ve known injuries and bad luck always follow my good friend, even right now he has 2 key players down with injury. Lets see how it goes but definitely the game of the week and one want to watch.
Raiders vs Buccs, not a comment about the game, but I love the logos for that match, almost like a pirates of the caribbean movie.

Off-topic: do not want to bring in a sensitive topic but probably read what happened today at NFL, I’ve been there and luckily God was protecting me, but it’s still something Im very sensitive to.
