Steelers Reboot For 2006 |
Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittbsurgh Steelers have launched their 2006 campaign with bang, moving large pieces of their roster with the goal of turning the team's fortunes around, particularly as they also look to recover from the high cap penalty position of the previous seasons.
While this season's cap penalty is sitting at $22.5M, the Steelers have managed to keep next year's penalty position at just $4.85M even after all the trading they have done.
Below are the incoming and outgoing players from this offseason:

Free Agency
With the team's salary cap space being cut back significantly with the arrival of a number of the above players, there are under-contract players that have good reason to be worried about their position on the team's roster moving through the rest of the offseason. Most will be hoping a trade for their services will be their future and not the post-draft free agency pile. |
